Live Food Stations for a Dynamic Workday Event
For Semrush’s 17th anniversary celebration in Ušće Tower II, our task was to design and coordinate a three-hour daytime event featuring live food stations – a format that allows employees to enter and exit the event area at their convenience, without disrupting the rhythm of the workday.
Instead of traditional serving, the space was organized around several carefully planned stations where food was prepared live, in smaller batches, ensuring a continuous impression of freshness and dynamism from start to finish.

The Operational Challenge
Upon a specific client request, we also prepared a mocktail version of the drinks—a completely non-alcoholic bar in line with the team’s internal policy and culture, which is standard procedure for us when working with international IT companies. Our role encompassed the concept, selecting a high-class catering partner, aligning the menu with the team’s habits (ranging from lighter bites to more substantial dishes, including healthy options), and complete on-site coordination. The result was an event that simultaneously marked the brand’s jubilee and created a natural, relaxed atmosphere within the team—more of an experience than “just catering.”
Results of the Collaboration
From the outset, it was clear we weren’t just executing “another catering job,” but a themed, carefully conceptualized daytime event.
The final result was a daytime event that resembled Semrush: modern, dynamic, without excessive formality, yet with a high standard of service. For us, the strongest indicator of success was not just the visual impression or the reaction to the food, but the fact that people returned to the station multiple times, stayed in the area until the last minute of the event, and very naturally entered “celebration mode” – in the middle of a workday.
